A useful fit for

A desk user who wants an attached support with two preset lift positions and whose exact laptop underside meets MOFT's no-bottom-vents compatibility condition.

The main tradeoff

It attaches to the computer rather than becoming a separate desk stand. The maker publishes a diagonal range but no laptop-specific footprint chart, load rating, or measured screen height for each device; adhesive suitability and vent clearance must be checked.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

How much lift does the MOFT MS006 offer?

MOFT lists two positions, described as 2 or 3 inches of lift. The page does not give the resulting screen height for every laptop, and the keyboard angle changes with the raised position. Treat the figures as the manufacturer's stand positions, not a measured screen-height guarantee.

Will the adhesive MS006 fit a laptop with bottom vents?

MOFT says the MS006 is for 11.6–16-inch laptops without underside vents and names Surface Book and Surface Book 2 as exceptions. Compare the actual vent openings, feet, case, edge shape and adhesive contact area; the diagonal range alone does not establish fit.

Can I carry the MS006 without packing another stand?

MOFT describes the MS006 as a thin portable stand and shows it attached to a laptop. Its listed 3 mm thickness and 89 g mass are stand-only specifications; the product page does not give a separate bag envelope or promise that the adhesive is suitable for every finish.

The MOFT Adhesive Laptop Stand (MS006) is a thin support that travels attached to the laptop rather than as a separate metal riser. The manufacturer describes two raised positions, a 2- or 3-inch lift, and a base that stays on the laptop with removable glue. That arrangement is appealing if you want a stand to be present whenever you carry the computer, but it also makes the underside of the exact laptop part of the fit decision. This assessment is based on MOFT's U.S.-facing product listing and the product image, not hands-on use or testing.

Two positions, not a free-standing height range

MOFT lists the MS006 at 170 by 224 by 3 millimeters and 89 grams, with two elevations described as 2 or 3 inches. These figures belong to this adhesive version; they should not be borrowed for the narrower Airflow Stand or the separate non-adhesive MS002. The two positions give the user a choice between lower and higher support, but the product page does not publish a continuous range, a screen-height result for each laptop, or a keyboard-angle measurement. A larger screen lift also changes the keyboard's slope because the stand is attached to the laptop itself.

The supplied design uses polyurethane, fiberglass, removable glue and magnets. MOFT calls it invisible and portable, but this is not the same as an independent folding riser that can be set up on any desk: its small support pieces remain on the laptop when folded away. The manufacturer's language about removable glue is useful, but it is not a guarantee that every finish, coating, vent layout or residue-sensitive surface will tolerate repeated attachment and removal. If you move between computers, this is less flexible than a stand that is not fixed to one machine.

Check vents and the underside before choosing

The product page gives a broad 11.6–16-inch laptop range, then narrows it: MOFT says not to use the MS006 on laptops with underside air vents and names Surface Book and Surface Book 2 as exceptions. The page also warns that a stand covering bottom vents can block airflow. That restriction matters more than the screen diagonal. A laptop in the stated size range may still be unsuitable if its vents, feet, battery door, curved edges or surface texture overlap the adhesive area. The listing does not provide a model-by-model compatibility chart or a laptop load rating.

Before purchase, compare the laptop's complete bottom panel with the maker's placement image and current instructions. Check that the stand's two supports can sit flat without covering cooling openings or interfering with feet, screws, ports or a protective shell. A case changes the attachment surface; do not assume the glue can be applied to every case material. If your computer has underside vents, the non-adhesive MOFT models have different specifications, but they also have their own fit restrictions and are not automatically a safe substitute.

Travel is built into the format, but fit remains personal

The 3-millimeter listed thickness and 89-gram mass explain the low-bulk design. MOFT positions the stand as portable and shows it folding flat against a laptop. It avoids the separate object that can be forgotten at a café or packed in the wrong bag, but the stand's travel convenience depends on keeping it attached to a compatible computer. If you prefer to change computers, avoid adhesive or use a different arrangement, the older non-adhesive MS002 and the newer Invisible Stand are separate product pages; their angles, size choices and compatibility notes are not the MS006's specifications.

The exact product page gives no rotation base, no lap-use arrangement, no base footprint for a desk, and no third-party compatibility certification. The two height choices do not turn the stand into a swivel platform. MOFT's use of the word “airflow” elsewhere in its range also should not be read as a cooling performance claim for this model. We did not measure temperatures, test the adhesive, evaluate stability, or try the stand with a laptop. Treat the listed size and height as screening details and verify the physical contact points yourself.

Who should consider MS006?

This model is most relevant to someone who wants a very light, laptop-attached desk support, has an underside that MOFT allows, and prefers two preset elevations to carrying a separate stand. It is a poor match if the laptop has bottom vents, if a removable stand is essential, or if you need a precise fit guarantee for a particular chassis. MOFT's up-to-16-inch claim is not an exact footprint chart, and its listed lift is not a measured screen position for every device.

Confirm the precise model code MS006 rather than an MS005 Airflow or MS002 non-adhesive listing. Check the current package contents, color, surface suitability and the maker's installation guidance for the exact laptop. The manufacturer page observed for this review lists multiple color finishes; finish is not a different support mechanism. Availability and retailer terms can change, so verify the exact item and return policy before deciding.
